Last time A Rocket To The Moon touched Maryland soil they sat upon their guitar cases on a hot summer day, playing for 20 lucky kids who signed up at the Fueled By Ramen table first. This time Nick, Justin, Eric and Andrew were welcomed by a packed house, filled to the brim with screaming fans. No longer playing acoustic on Warped Tour, ARTTM played full band and played full of energy for their 11 song set. Playing mostly off of their latest album On Your Side the band gained new fans and pleased ones who have been long-term fans. Last night kicked off The Small Package Tour in Philly where the band played a full set of 17 songs. The band is reportedly taking requests from the crowd on this tour and is keeping it laid back on the completely sold out small club show. We're fortunate enough to be attending the sold-out-in-one-minute-hometown-show where the night is sure to be madness. In other news. All Time Low's first album under Interscope records is said to be titled Dirty Work. The album will be released early 2011 and new songs from the album are bound to show up over the course of the tour.

Another top 40 hit has been punk-ified in promotion for Punk Goes Pop 3. This has been the first full song uploaded in a couple of weeks and by the looks this Mayday Parade cover was well worth the wait. 

As they gear up to go on a sold out national tour with All Time Low and City Comma State the band A Rocket To The Moon recently released The Rainy Day Sessions, a short EP of acoustic songs and covers, making a perfect day when the weather is not-so-perfect. 

Like We Used To-By far my favorite ARTTM song has been perfected in this acoustic version. The vocals are highlighted and the whole song flows in such a way that it's perfect to just set it on repeat for hours.

Baby Blue Eyes-The thing that's great about this EP is how soft the music has become. Although the original is well done, the guitar is a little too rough to just be able to listen and relax. The rainy day version however is soft and therefore any age group could enjoy it. A Rocket To The Moon is that band that parents and their kids can all listen to together and enjoy all the same.

Single Ladies-Everyone knows the smash club hit by Beyonce, just last night I heard it at a festival, a wedding and then at a school dance function. The thing is, I've listened so many times but never really focused on the verse lyrics until ARTTM covered it. Trying to choose between the two is a no brainer. Rocket wins.

Mr. Right-This track on the EP is probably the most different from the original On Your Side. Taking away the electric guitar and drums puts more focus on Nick Santino's voice and highlights the talent that got the band noticed in the first place. The planning for the track-listing is truly superb in terms of arrangement and is the perfect mix for any rainy day. 

On A Lonely Night-The guest vocals of Larkin Poe shine brightest on the last track, especially with the harmonizing of the chorus. On A Lonely Night is the fastest track on the EP and gives the most energy to the listener, lifting their spirit before they start listening to it all over again.

From New Haven, CT comes The Queen Killing Kings, one of the most talented and nicest bands I have ever met.
